Nederlands Dans Theater - NDT 2
Alongside NDT 1, founded in 1959, NDT 2 brings together young dancers aged between 18 and 23. Its repertoire forms a bridge between emerging and established choreographers, offering its virtuoso performers an environment conducive to their artistic development.
Botis Seva
Born in the UK, Botis Seva began his career as a choreographer at the age of 17 and founded his own company, Far From The Norm. He has won numerous awards and created works for Scottish Dance Theatre and Sadler's Wells.
Alexander Ekman
Born in Sweden, Alexander Ekman describes himself as ‘crazy about rhythm’. His ballets Cacti (2010), A Swann Lake (2014, on a stage covered in water!), and Play (in 2017 for the Ballet de l'Opéra national de Paris) have brought him to the attention of a wide audience. In 2024, he choreographed the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympic Games in Paris.
Marcos Morau
The Spaniard Marcos Morau, co-creator of the La Veronal collective, has been an associate artist with numerous ballets and theatres - and currently with the Staatsballett in Berlin. He recently created Sonoma in 2021 and Sleeping Beauty in 2022 for the Lyon Opera Ballet.
