The challenge taken up by the Junior Ballet de l'Opéra national de Paris is to perpetuate a three-hundred-year-old tradition while encouraging the artistic development of dancers from all backgrounds.
The mission of the Junior Ballet de l'Opéra national de Paris is to perpetuate a three-hundred-year-old savoir-faire, while fostering the artistic development of dancers from all horizons. This program, chosen from the various pieces studied throughout their training, demonstrates the mastery, quality and openness to all styles of this promising nursery.

- Company and choreographerCreated in September 2024, the Junior Ballet of the Paris Opera is placed under the authority of the Director of Dance José Martinez. Its aim is to diversify the profiles of its dancers, encourage their professional integration and strengthen its outreach to the public through touring and outreach activities. Open to all, its members are recruited through the Ballet's external competition for a two-year contract, during which training periods alternate with performances.
