The balance between toe and heel is precarious, but the field of possibilities is exciting. Just like this world premiere, brilliantly directed by the maverick Eugénie Andrin.

In her latest creation, Eugénie Andrin has fun destructuring the codes of classical dance by hijacking the academic use of pointe. Seizing on accessories that symbolize femininity, such as the stiletto, she explores a singular gestural style, celebrating the diversity and multiplicity of all women!

Company and choreographer
Eugénie Andrin
Trained at the ESDC Rosella Hightower, Eugénie Andrin was a soloist with the Ballet de l'Opéra d'Avignon, before creating choreographies for numerous operas on the biggest international stages. In 2014, she founded her company in Antibes and became a ‘resident of heart’ at Anthéa, which co-produces and programmes her creations. Alongside this activity, she leads artistic and cultural education projects, including the participatory show Breathe, Breathe! bringing together over 150 students at the Théâtre Antique during the Chorégies d'Orange.
