Company and choreographer
From 1996, Mickaël Le Mer trained with the hip-hop company S'Poart, where he created In Vivo in 2007. He is now its artistic director. As an associate artist with a number of companies, he has established his own style in pieces with a highly controlled scenic space, such as Rock It Daddy in 2013, Rouge in 2014, and Les Yeux Fermés in 2022, based on the work of painter Pierre Soulage. He defends a loose hip-hop, sometimes abstract but always open to others.
