Amala Dianor
While hip-hop—learned as a self-taught dancer—forms the core of his artistic identity, Amala Dianor combined it with contemporary dance training at the CNDC in Angers, followed by a career as a performer through which he absorbed a wide range of techniques and expressions. Since 2011, he has choreographed more than twenty works, including the recent Dub, presented at the Cannes Dance Festival in 2023, and Gesualdo Passione.
His language brings together urban, neo-classical, and Afro-contemporary dance forms, seeking beyond stylistic differences the very essence of movement.
