FROM 22 NOV. TO 7 DEC. 2025
This 25th edition is going big, both in terms of the number of shows and the format.
24 companies, including 13 from abroad – from Spain to South Africa, from the Netherlands to Portugal, via Germany, Italy and Belgium – are putting on no fewer than 50 shows!
The Festival’s ambitious programme will be highlighted by the presence of large-scale ballets and companies on the stages of Cannes and its partner towns, a sign of the remarkable vitality of this form of dance and the enthusiasm it arouses in everyone.
The Festival also gives pride of place to shows combining dance and live music, as well as to creations inspired by traditional dance forms such as flamenco and fado, infinite and fertile sources for creators.
Another essential marker is the Festival’s commitment to artists and creation, with the presentation of never-before-seen works and the development of projects dedicated to young people, demonstrating the Festival’s accessibility to all audiences.
The Festival also offers a series of professional events open to all, including the 2nd edition of MOV’IN Cannes, an international video-dance competition co-directed with Éric Oberdorff. In addition to the film screenings, there will be a series of round tables, master classes and, of course, the now traditional bords plateau, skilfully initiated by Brigitte Lefèvre.
I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to the City of Cannes and the Palais des Festivals, as well as to all the public, institutional and private partners whose commitment makes this major dance festival possible. Their support for art and creativity is a real source of hope in a political and geopolitical context where freedom, tolerance and democracy are all too often called into question.
Finally, I’d like to salute and congratulate all the members of the Festival team. Their talent and dedication are essential to welcoming the artists and sharing these moments of emotion, discovery and celebration with you.
