International Dance Film Competition
Artistic Direction:
Didier Deschamps and Éric Oberdorff
A day of international competition dedicated to the diversity and creativity of both choreographic and cinematic writing: this is the challenge launched by the Cannes - Côte d'Azur Dance Festival with MOV'IN Cannes.
Following the call for dance films launched at the end of 2024, alongside the jury made up of professionals from the film and dance industries, 20 short films have been selected by :
> An international network of partner festivals and institutions located in Paris, Amsterdam, Montreal, Rio de Janeiro, Lisbon, Limerick, Reykjavik, Berlin, San Francisco, and Tel Aviv*.
> Student panels from art schools on the Côte d'Azur** and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.
Here's the list of the 20 films selected out of the 134 films received, including 52 French productions
