This 25th edition, under the artistic direction of Didier Deschamps, invites 24 companies from 8 countries, thanks to the complicity of 9 Côte d’Azur cultural structures united around the Palais des Festivals de Cannes for a program that crosses all dance aesthetics.

Movement, space, rhythm and the body are all issues addressed in dance and film. Under the artistic direction of Didier Deschamps and Eric Oberdorff, MOV’IN Cannes brings together these 2 creative arts, which have never ceased to collaborate, inspire and renew each other.

MOV’IN Cannes aims to showcase the creativity of both choreographic and cinematographic writing in one day of international competition!

Festival 2023

THROWBACK TO THE CANNES 2023 DANCE FESTIVAL

For almost three weeks, Cannes and the Côte d'Azur were alive with the rhythms of dance. Each artist offered a singular vision of the world, its beauties and its questionings, with as many ways of thinking about movement, mobilizing the body and sharing emotions and sometimes astonishments with us.
Dance unfurled not only on the stages of theaters, but also in public spaces, on facades and screens... a series of emotionally-charged encounters!
